backed by a resplendent night view of the city, and cable cars.

Roads up to Mt Faber were closed to the public that night,
so we were terribly privileged to join the crowd in watching the countdown fireworks
atop Mt Faber on the last day of 2007 :)

UBS Christmas Party

Dawn and Daniel brought the spirit of Christmas right into the heart of CBD,
at the office of UBS Wealth Management :)

I love how the festive season brings the fun side out of people.

Playing at the UBS Operations Department Christmas function at their breathtakingly beautiful office at One Raffles Quay totally blew me away. We started the night with a jolly Christmas number "Let It Snow" to get the mood going, followed by some familiar favourites interspersed with more Christmas classics. It wasn't too long before the staff got in on the action with a hearty rendition of "Santa Claus is coming to Town" led by their department head.

During our break Daniel and I looked on while the attendees sportingly took part in a very interesting games segment. The fun mood carried on throughout the second set, with different people taking turns at the microphone to resounding cheers. But all good things come to an end, and the set ended on a high with everyone joining in on a very enthusiastic "We Wish You A Merry Christmas".

Thank you UBS Ops for being such an appreciative and fun audience!

Hi Yours Truly,

We are now in USA on our honeymoon hence only checked on your blog updates now.

Yet to catch up with most of our guests but from the few we had contact with, the reviews were great! You guys did a wonderful job at our wedding and the idea to do song requests was great! We could see that our guests were relaxed & enjoying themselves and we really had Yours Truly to thank for helping to put them so at ease. Gary & I enjoyed reading through the requests and dedication slips you have so kindly kept for us too ;)

The photos look good (heehee, they had to be cos we are in them! ;p). U guys are lucky to get them so fast cos we have yet to view ours! Just for the record, John is an old friend who is like a 'brother' to me and I really loved the surprise gift! Thanks for putting that photo in, I'm gonna email him to check it out ;)

For those who are reading this & still unsure about which band to use for your BIG day....do check out Yours Truly.... hear them perform live at Oosh & you'll be even more convinced of your choice by then.....just like we did ;)

Garry & Shirley's Wedding @ Traders Hotel, Temasek Room

Garry and Shirley booked us long ago (about 6 months in advance)
after they heard me at Balaclava (I used to perform there on Fridays during Happy Hour)

They had personalised chocolates as wedding favours,
and also a pre-recorded wedding speech on video to thank their friends and family :)
A good tip for those who might get the jitters before their big speech!
