Meryl on vocals
Euntaek on keyboard

Hi Yours Truly

Just wanted to drop a note that Meryl and the rest of the team was great on our wedding night.

We had rave reviews from all the guests at the wedding dinner and both me and my hubby also had a great time enjoying the music that night.

Please help us to thank Meryl and the rest of the team :)

Cheers
Sharon

Will & Karen's Wedding @ Pan Pacific

Will & Karen's wedding was a magnificent one, beautifully coordinated by the lovely team at Wedding Acts, especially when both of them were based in London.

Check out this grand fairyland frame which consisted of 3000 red roses!!!

We also had a band in full-force,
complete with percussion, double-bass, guitar and keyboard.

I represented Singapore earlier at a Hong Kong Tourism Board event, so could only sing for Will & Karen for their later dinner set, they were gracious and kind enough to let me sing at the event earlier.

Alfred had already wowed the crowd, especially Karen's family from Hong Kong, with his Jacky Cheung-esque numbers! Many guests came up to compliment the band, even one of the super big-shots working at Pan Pacific, who was part of the family.

It was all very encouraging for us!

When we sung together for the next set, it was very entertaining for the guests to hear another singer, and we sang many duets as well, all to rounds of applause.

Will and Karen were also very appreciative of the band, and we had a great time!

Thank you Will and Karen! May your new life together be a joyous and blessed one!

Andre & Celeste's Wedding Celebrations @ Pan Pacific

24 Jan 10
Our lunch ♥

Sunday morning. Clouds were shrouding us in moments unforgettable.

Vox: Dawn & Alfred
Keys: Ein

Today's songlist comprised almost entirely Chinese songs and the crowd loved it so we loved it. That's what weddings are about isn't it? Friends & family coming together to have an enjoyable time. I do think so :)

Thank you Andre & Celeste!

xoxo,
Dawn

George & Kate had their wedding celebrations at the Pan Pacific Hotel in a cavernous ballroom to accommodate all their friends and relatives, including Kate's family who'd flown in from Hong Kong just to be with them on this special day. The thoughtful couple specifically requested for us to prepare a cantonese song for their HK relatives, a request to which we most willingly obliged.

This special song is Leslie Cheung's 今生今世, OST that famous Anita Mui movie, "She's a Man, He's a Woman". Tonight was the first time I've performed this song in public so I really want to share it with all of you. The video setting was a bit wonky so please so forgive the blurry images.

This song was done to rousing applause and appreciation from the crowd :) So if you're having guests fly in for your wedding and you'd like us to prepare a song or 2 in a foreign language, do speak with us to see what we can do!

Shiew Sing & William's Wedding @ Pan Pacific, Grand Ballroom

Kewei on vocals
Junedy on harp

Here with my dearest secondary school teacher Mrs Avarami Tang, who was one of the most sincere and caring teachers I've ever met!

She made 'A' Maths fun, beat that!

Dear Kewei,

pardon us for sending out this mail so late. We just got back from our honeymoon. Thank you for all your time and effort in covering our Wedding. Both you and harpist are wonderful and our family and friends enjoyed your singing. Your professionalism is exemplary, we really enjoyed the evening.

Kudos to Yours Truly. It will certainly be the talk of the wedding fraternity for many years to come.
P.S. Will strongly recommend your services to my friends who are getting married ;)

Rgds,
William & Shiew Sing
Happily Married
(26 Nov @ Pan Pacific)

Firstly, how can any class stand to have such a pretty Chinese teacher???

Both Shiew Sing and William are teachers, and naturally the room was abuzz with teachers and some students.

Being on a raised platform at the corner of the stage,
I thought it was a perfect little spot for the harpist and I.

We played chill tunes all night long, and I played up the Norah Jones/Joanna Wang vibe along with the gentle, romantic sounds of the harp.

Thanks William and Shiew Sing! :)
Stay beautiful!

Tunn Lin & Jim's Wedding @ Pan Pacific, Ocean Ballroom

From Dawn:

I had the pleasure of playing at the wedding of Tunn Lin & Jim with Sugianto on vox and Ein Ein on keys. It's always fun to have someone else to banter and do duets with, and what better person than Sugie!

Just to give you an idea of how the night went, Sugie had the girls in the room waving their arms to the beat of the song by the end of the night. ;)

We also had a ball of a time mixing classic love songs from Michael Buble with classic hokkien songs like 'a little umbrella'.

Many thanks to our appreciative audience and our very best to Tunn Lim & Jim - as described by an attending guest - a perfect match!
