Karen and Jet's Wedding @ Holiday Inn Parkview, Crystal Ballroom
Kewei on vocals
Ein Ein on keyboards
Kangyang on guitar
Karen and Jet heard us at the Holiday Inn Parkview wedding fair,
and decided to engage the band thereafter :)
We were very well taken care of by the bridal party,
who constantly asked if we needed drinks or food :)
Jet readily agreed to my suggestion of singing for Karen,
and he did a beautiful job... singing You Are So Beautiful....
words every bride would love to hear ;P
Karen's jiemeis were the life of the party,
and had great ideas for the gatecrashing! :)
They also sang along to their dedication "Say A Little Prayer With You",
and to our finale song of "Can't Take My Eyes Off You" :)
Lovely photos once again, thanks to Yew Kwang! :)

Philharmonic Winds Goes Pop @ Esplanade Concert Hall
This was an unbelievable show for me.
The thrill of playing with a 50 piece band...
it cannot be better expressed than with cloying squeals of delight...
the overwhelmingly supportive audience
my honour to be headlined in the same show as Sebastian Tan!

Ode to Joy Charity Showcase @ Lunar
Together with like-minded people, driven by the passion for music and charity,
I recorded a song for this album Ode To Joy,
and Chanel's self-penned 謝謝你, 就是你 was included in this album as well :)
"All-Star" version of 謝謝你, 就是你.
This song was specially written for the heroes of the Sichuan earthquake tragedy,
and a group of us, (we call ourselves ZPGY, or 猪朋狗友) got together to sing this song.
Some faces you might find familiar -
Chanel, Ginny, Kewei, Dawn, Alfred, all vocalists of Yours Truly,
Kitty, emcee from Yours Truly,
and Ein Ein, Mark, keyboardists of Yours Truly. :)
A fundraising showcase for Ode To Joy was held at Lunar following the release of the album :)
Through music,
we find love in our friendship, and meaning to our song
and we find hope in inspiring those around us to do a little more for charity,
for those who need our help.
It's the least we can do :)

Giuseppe and Azlida's Solemnisation @ Flutes at the Fort
Azlida planned for a beautiful surprise for her husband -
right after their intimate solemnisation with only 10 other friends and family,
I appeared, playing the erhu, with his favourite song What A Wonderful World.
After which the party trooped upstairs for a breezy lunch affair,
and headed straight to Bali for all night partying!
Azlida is a photographer herself, specialising in baby and family portraits,
so it was interesting to find out which photographer she would pick for her solemnisation.
I wasn't surprised when I met Brian Ho from The Galeria again!
His work for May and Meyer last Oct definitely left an impression on myself!
