What a sweet couple!
Daniel was a really sincere and down to earth guy, and his gratitude was humbling. Not only did he show his appreciation to us, the band, during his speech, he did not forget all the vendors that he had hired during the night.

interesting fact, daniel and aik mei met through a dating agency and aik mei was the first girl he was set up on a date with.
so guess who i saw on the TODAY paper a couple of days later!!

Suki & Jame's Wedding in Bangkok, Thailand!

Yours Truly goes to Bangkok! and this time the entourage was delighted to be part of Suki and Jame's wedding on both nights.

The first night was a cosy dinner held at the Sheraton Grande Sukhumvit fine-dining Italian restaurant. Suki and Jame had meant it only for their dear friends, most of whom they've met during their university days overseas. A little background info, Suki's part-thai while Jame's from hongkong.

It was a cosy wedding gathering at the Fullerton ballroom

and i was glad to be part of the lovely night!

The repertoire for the night was mainly chinese and mandarin classics..

not forgetting many love duets like 你最珍贵, 恋爱频率...

Just when we were about to leave, we saw this photo booth sitting in a corner of the ballroom.. It was definitely one of the night's crowd favourites, so many people were queuing up for it!

So in all singaporean spirit, we joined in the queue!

i think fabfoto is going to be the next big thing!

Thank you Luke and Rachel for being so accommodating, we couldn't have been more grateful!

It might have been my first time meeting Jordan & Amanda but they are definitely no strangers to Yours Truly.
Turns out 2 couples in their guestlist had also previously hired Yours Truly to be part of their special night.. and now it's their turn! Talk about customer loyalty!


When it comes to wedding dinners, i've always been interested in the table decors...
Trust me, they tell a lot about the couple, from the colour combi right down to the kind of chosen doorgifts...

Tiffany blue and white combi never fails (:

Everyone was given a tiffany ring on that night.... in their dreams hahaa


Napkins tied with tiffany blue ribbon and PEARLS.. omg the details!

It is not difficult to tell Amanda & Jordan's personalities from the effort they've put into the table decor!

Jordan was so sweet he decided to surprise his wife with the song "Have I told you lately"
(he had to drink a few glasses before he garnered enough courage to do so haha)

It's always very heartwarming when couples thank their parents..
some choose to use words, others present flowers as display of their love and affection,
Jordan & Amanda chose the latter and even invited their parents on stage..






It was such a bittersweet scene seeing their mother shed tears of joy in the embrace of their children, the emotions was further amplified with Matthew's fill-in piano rendition of 最浪漫的事..
i seriously wanted to bawl out loud there and then T_T
