I got to know Silvia from a while back, when she first came by Wala Wala to hear me :) She was very supportive of me, and I really wanted to sing for her wedding because she was such a darling! She even brought her parents down to Wala Wala another time to hear me sing!
Her Facebook photo comment made me laugh -
Kewei, EinEin, and the other band members were extremely professional and made beautiful music~! They are the best!!!...I have a crush on Kewei and EinEin =)
As usual my schedule was a nightmare, and I couldn't be sure of my availability to sing at her wedding until weeks before the actual day, when I finally could finally confirm!
Her chosen songlist also included songs from KEEP! (Kewei & Einein EP) and I think that must be the 1st time anyone has chosen our originals to be part of their wedding songlist :)
We gamely sang our duet for her - here's the official music video :)
The couple also sang for their 1st March-In, a lovely song called PS.我爱你by A-Lin, and Silvia also prepared a Japanese song as a gift, to be sung after her speech.
Before the wedding she was really nervous, and kept telling me that she might cry, or she might not be able to sing the song well, and I should probably just skip that bit should she not want to sing blah blah blah ... NERVES!
But it was beautiful that day, and she sang the song as planned - it was perfect in every way! It's such a nice song, called Yubiwa.
We prepared for a dance segment nearing the end of the dinner - but knowing the Chinese crowd, we eased them in with a slow dance with When I Fall in Love... with Silvia and Philip leading the dance!
After which the crowd was unstoppable! As we carried on with cha-cha beats!
We played our best and really enjoyed the night as well :)
I wsh you both to stay as strong and loving as you have over the past decade of long-distance dating! ^_^
PS. They even set up a cute photo station at the reception for everyone to take photos!
PPS. And had really delish chocolates as reception favours! (i can't remember where they're from!!)
