It was a lovely chinese wedding dinner
but with a little twist ;)
got the hint?
Yes, it was alfresco style amongst the greeneries
and beautiful orchids of pink and blue:D
It's no wonder everyone was snapping away,
trying to capture a little something of that perfect moment :)
family and friends gathered before the dinner...
well, how could we resist?
daniel the hawaiian babe of the day
polaroid for instant happiness :D
One of the most amazing thing about Winston and Charmaine's wedding
was the detail.
The wedding gifts were little potted plants,
personalized with each and every single guests' name!
And guess what, the lights, the table cloth, the flower arrangements,
the lovely photo display hung at the cocktail area...
Everything was hand-made by their friends from law school in university!
Meet tutera team, Singapore style!
Yourstruly loves personal touches :)
dedication-slips specially customized by us for Winston and Charmaine :)
and i especially love reading messages from friends and families...
sometimes they are naughty teasings,
other times they are sweet and heartwarming,
but always,
they go beyond mere words and signify a genuine happiness of seeing two become one :)
Before our second set started,
the couple's friends made their speeches...
I have to say, they were so hilarious!
I've never heard a more well-planned, witty speech
especially when both of Winston's buddy/best men spoke :D
"We did a lot of research for our wedding speech,
and we realise we were supposed to sing praises of Winston.
Unfortunately, we don't sing, and we dont lie."
They didn't hesistate to expose Winston's unglam past,
but at the end, they gave their most sincere and sweet blessings.
When it was Winston's turn to make his speech,
the romantic Winston ended his with a self-composed song :)
yourstruly musicians exhibiting professionalism haha
The night was filled with fun and laughter,
and i almost didn't want to leave...
but i had to end, and i did it with the perfect song,
"That's All" by Rod Stewart (no pun intended haha)
In the words of the groom's best men,
Charmaine and Winston, I wish you
"fun, laughter, and happily ever after" :)
Thanks to John Lim Photography for the lovelylovely photos!
