Merlyn and Jannarko's wedding at Four Seasons Hotel

Yours Truly Live Music:
Kexin on vocals
Jordan on keys
Daniel on guitar

Dear Kewei,

Our wedding would not be complete without Yours Truly Live Band that night. Thanks to Kexin's lovely voice, all our guests are very well entertained. She sang very well too for both our march-ins (too bad both of us walked too fast, should have walked slower and enjoyed her singing even more!)

Here are some of the pictures taken during the night by our photographer Kelvin Eng from www.kelvin-photography.com
Hope you enjoy them as much as we do. =)

Thanks,
Merlyn & Jannarko

Tammi & Jeremy's Wedding @ Four Seasons Hotel

Looking hard and spiky on the outside, but all soft and mushy on the inside! LOL
I loved his wit and wry humour, this was the first time I saw such a funny powerpoint presentation at a wedding!

He secretly practised a surprise song for his wife with the band during the soundcheck, L-O-V-E!
After his speech, he led his wife back to his seat, but stopped midway, as if as an after-thought, and said, "Actually... I have a surprise for you.."

Tammi looked so happy, and so gorgeous in her purple gown :) Hopefully I'll have pictures to share later!

We sang all English songs for the night, and the requests were pouring in, we ran out of slips!

Sweet compliments from guests!

This was also one of the rare times that we received a thank you gift from the wedding couple (other than angpaos :p) - that was really thoughtful!

Pretty packaging!

It was a lovely lunch affair at the Four Seasons Hotel (:

Pretty floral decor for a perfect sunday afternoon...

Flower bouquets on the VIP tables (:

The couple must have been fans of instrumental music for they had specially requested for "Say Yes" by Chage & Aska, to be played by the piano & saxophone only, during their first march-in (:

The band and I also performed a spiritually uplifting song, Love's funny that Way by Tina Arena to accompany their video montage.

Thank you Hong Meng & Yan Bing for the wonderful afternoon!
p.s: we love your strawberry bar! haha

Am still waiting for the photos from the Photographer, once avail.. I'll definately send some to you.

Once again, thanks for the great entertainment provided. Now all I hope for is that my dont look too red in the photo with the band... hahahaha

Take care and keep in touch.

Regards
Alen

Alen was soooo super busy while preparing for his wedding and juggling his work at the same time, flying in and out of Singapore - but he still wanted to have us at his wedding regardless!

Thanita & Joseph's Wedding @ Four Seasons

This was one of the most emotional weddings i've been to!

It was the first time I saw a groom nearly cry!

It was all for good reason, Joseph's parents were both onstage giving their speech, and this very morning, Joseph and Thanita were married in the same church, on the same day, as were Joseph's parents 30 years ago!

Thanita was Thai, and Joseph was Filipino-Indian, I'm sure their babies would be gorgeous!

Thanita's father had a magical voice. I cannot describe it any better, but it sounded strangely captivating and simply commanded your attention when he sang.
No wonder, he used to sing at a jazz bar in Bangkok :)

He sang I Left My Heart In San Francisco, and we urged him to sing one more while we were rehearsing, and he did!

Onstage, he said, "Once I hold my mike, I just can't put it down!" and he continued with Fly Me To The Moon :)

As Thanita put it, as a young girl, she had always dreamed of her father singing at her wedding, and today her dream came true.

That to me, was absolutely perfect.

The second set of our performance almost ended up as a karaoke session, as many of their talented relatives took to the stage and sang classics like Born Free, My Way...

Luckily Ein Ein could respond quick and was always read to catch the correct keys of the songs as the requests for oldies came quick and strong!

We are blessed to have been part of this celebration, thanks to Martin & Joan who recommended us! :)

Awaiting pictures!

Sijie & Lee Khim's Wedding @ Four Seasons Hotel

Photobucket
alfred and kexin on vox,
ein on keys (missing in the photo).

The 4 seasons ballroom was a grand one.
We, the singers, were even pampered with 4 LCD screens,
situated at each side of the ballroom so that everyone can see us.
Talk about LIVE entertainment!

One of the host for the afternoon (kudos to Sijie's buddy),
spoke in teochew to accommodate the older folks!
Ein and I thought it's very heartwarming to see family and friends
laugh along at his semi-pro dialect!

To get into the local mood,
we too sang 一人一半, the hokkien/chinese song from 881 OST.
Repertoire for the night consisted mainly of english evergreens like lover's concerto
and chinese love ballads like 永邦 - 你是我最深爱的人.

David & Sherine's Wedding @ Four Seasons Hotel

Photobucket

David and Sherine had a most happening dinner,
the brothers had already broken out full swing into karaoke mode
for my very 1st song of the night - Can't Take Me Eyes Off You!

David also reminded us,
"Have fun! You're not here to work tonight, alright? Enjoy yourselves!
Help yourselves to the strawberries!"

We already did.
For the cocktail reception, they specially arranged for a platform made entirely out of ice -
to contain nothing but a huge mountain of strawberries!

A simple but beautiful idea :)

Throughout the dinner, I'm sure the guests could hardly hear us.
Friends and colleagues broke out into YUUUUUMMMM SEEEEEENNNNNGGGGGs every 10 minutes or so, it was a huge party!
3 or 4 tables of guests would gather around one table and YUUUMMM SEEENNNNGG endlessly,
by the time we were ready to leave... David was no longer to be found.
In fact he was so knocked out he had to be sent up to his room. LOL

We had great fun!

Meta & Heng Rui's Wedding @ Four Seasons Hotel

Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket

Thank you very much for your band's wonderful performance on our wedding night and your gorgeous singing...you and your band definitely completed the night to make it perfect.
Our relatives and friends commented on what a great item your band is and how unique and special it made our wedding dinner, something that livens up the ambience!
All the songs were so beautifully sung and performed, even the last-minute dedications. The dedications cards were a nice surprise and something heartwarming for us to keep.
Once again, thank you very much for being part of our special night and wishing you and your band the very best! We'll definitely recommend Yours Truly to our friends =)

Warm Regards,
Heng Rui & Meta

All the very best =) -Meta
