Kewei & Alfred on vox Ein on keys Daniel on guitar
Hi kewei,
we do appreciate the presence of the band at our wedding. Our guests enjoyed the music a lot. Thank you! Attached are the pictures taken :) Enjoy and happy new year!
With Love, Trina
I won't forget Trina's awesome little black dress for her 2nd march in! It was a knee-length pom pom dress that she was so comfortable in, especially during photo-taking!
They were a very classy couple, and I'm glad to be back at the lovely Fullerton Hotel again for their celebrations :)
Here with my dearest secondary school teacher Mrs Avarami Tang, who was one of the most sincere and caring teachers I've ever met!
She made 'A' Maths fun, beat that!
Dear Kewei,
pardon us for sending out this mail so late. We just got back from our honeymoon. Thank you for all your time and effort in covering our Wedding. Both you and harpist are wonderful and our family and friends enjoyed your singing. Your professionalism is exemplary, we really enjoyed the evening.
Kudos to Yours Truly. It will certainly be the talk of the wedding fraternity for many years to come. P.S. Will strongly recommend your services to my friends who are getting married ;)
Rgds, William & Shiew Sing Happily Married (26 Nov @ Pan Pacific)
Firstly, how can any class stand to have such a pretty Chinese teacher???
Both Shiew Sing and William are teachers, and naturally the room was abuzz with teachers and some students.
Being on a raised platform at the corner of the stage, I thought it was a perfect little spot for the harpist and I.
We played chill tunes all night long, and I played up the Norah Jones/Joanna Wang vibe along with the gentle, romantic sounds of the harp.
Just wanted to say a really big Thank You to you and your band (sorry didn't manage to get the names of the guys) for such an amazing performance on Sunday!!! =) Our guests really loved your performance and we received so many compliments on how fantastic you guys were!! I was totally blown away when you started singing, too bad I couldn't be there throughout the two sets :-(
Thanks for making the wedding so perfect!!!!!
All the best in your career and hope we'll have a chance to meet again *muacks*
Many thanks Cheryl
We had so much fun at Cheryl and Raymond's wedding!
Selwyn played an awesome, pitch-perfect version of Say Yes for their march-in!
This should definitely be played more often! :D
Also, Matthew decided to bring along a guitar and strum a few tunes (even though he is mainly a keyboardist) and we even sung together for harmonies, for kicks :)
We also received so many requests from the guests!
Sorry for the late email! We are so pleased that we chose your services for our wedding reception. You guys are truly amazing! All our guests can't stop raving about how great you all were.
Thank you again for making our evening so perfect!
We'll be sure to forward you some pictures once we receive them.
All the best :)

Band: Dawn and Alfred on vocals, Yingying on keyboards
Our lovely couple from Canada flew in guests from all over the world, including Canada, Australia, Taiwan, China, Malaysia, the UK and even Mauritius!
Always awesome to be able to spread our music far and wide :)
This night, I teamed up with Alfred (Vox) and Ying Ying (Keyboard). We were glad to receive a number of lovely messages and song dedications from the enthusiastic crowd, my favourite being a classic Ekin Cheng cantonese numer (一生爱你一个) that was performed to perfection by Alfred.
Egged on by the crowd and our very lively host Jeremy, the groom very gamely belted out classic love songs impromptu as 'punishments' during a game of pass the polo mint.
Jeremy also very patiently explained the Yum Seng process to all out-of-towners, who all chorused in this Singapore tradition.
Congratulations to Joewell & Gary and our biggest thanks to Kim & her team, as well as Jeremy (for the wonderful introduction)!

Sms from Karen the next day:
Hi Kewei,
Thank you very much for your awesome performance at our wedding. All our guests had a great time especially my dad's friends :)
Karen
Karen's parents' friends were exceptionally appreciative! They applauded after each song and I definitely felt like an oldies jukebox!
Our signature dedication slips! (photographer by Karen later)
花月佳期 by Anita Mui, also The Wedding by Julie Rogers, is a new addition to my repertoire that always strikes a chord with the older generation - and I specially played that as requested by 大姑妈, and were promptly showered by their kind generosity in the form of angpaos!
But Karen and Kanny were just more than happy to keep their guests entertained!
I also specially learnt Anita Mui's 亲密爱人for them and played it in bossa nova style :)
Also met Marc and Caron, whose wedding I sang for 2 years ago! In fact it was ever since their wedding, that Karen decided that we were to be her wedding band!
When Marc came up to me, I immediately recalled his name and his wife's! Sometimes I think I have super-power memory! It was great catching up with them!
Thanks Karen and Kanny for your warm hospitality, wishing you more happy days ahead! :)
It's been really cold and raining a lot in Singapore the recent weeks and I must say nothing warms the heart more then the smile on the wedding couple Bee Keng & Kim Soon as well as their invited guests!
The ballroom at Meritus Mandarin was large with at least 60 tables and almost 1000 people who turned up for their big day!
The ballroom was really huge and grand, our band was situated on the left side of the stage so that the guests could have a clear view.
Ein Ein the keyboardist, Chanel the Female Vocalist & Leon (myself) the male vocalist were happy to represent Yours Truly! We brought many songs for the couple as well as the audiences, to name a few : Gorgeous 爱的整好 By William So & Kit Chan, 愛很簡單 Ai Hen Jian Dan By David Tao, Dream A Little Dream, Quando Quando Quando ....
The couples 1st march in song was also performed by our very own band, 'Lovers Concerto' as the guests stood up and welcomed the beautifully dress bride and handsome groom!
As we performed on stage, dedication slips were handed our to us one after another, there were so many request of songs that we were trying our best to deliver all of them, it's a good sign of confidence the guests had in the delivery of the band from Yours Truly!
It was a wonderful feeling being a part of Bee Keng & Kim Soon's wedding, I am glad I could share this moment, I wish always loving and ever lasting happiness!
Sorry for late reply. just came back from honeymoon. Thanks for your blessing. We are glad and happy to have you and your team on our wedding day too. I must say you all did a great performance. My guests love your singing and they enjoy it very much. :) I will send you some photos when they are ready.
Thank you once again.
Cheers,
Sharon
Sharon and Vincent's wedding were great fun for us, I will always remember the most supportive guest who sat right at the back of the ballroom, but waved his arms around like he was in a concert, making sure I saw him! :)
It was the first time I sang Sodagreen suda 苏打绿's 小情歌 as a march-in song and I thought it was most perfect! :)
I also specially learnt songs such as 下一个天亮 & 黑白配 for the couple :)
Thanks for having us and wishing you both happiness! :)
14 November 2009 was a Wet & Live day at Wild Wild Wet (THE water theme park at Downtown East).
Me & Sebastian (on guitar) were part of this pilot project led by programme manager Alvin (who, by the way, rocks). Although it was raining, our spirits were all sunshine!
Imagine sitting on an inflatable donut in a wave pool or chillaxing under the stars with good company and a cocktail. Now throw in a live duo performing you favourite tunes. Paradise? I should think so!
Big thanks to Alvin and gang for this opportunity to be a part of Wet & Live.
And for those of you who are interested in trying this experience out for yourself, do look out for Ginny (28 Nov, 7.30pm - 10.15pm) and Kexin (12 Dec, 7.30pm - 10.15pm) during the next 2 upcoming installments.
Opening hours for the park will be specially extended.
For more information, do visit their website here or their facebook page here

It was truly a unique experience singing for a wavepool full of people! What's more, they were all extremely enthusiastic, dancing & singing along in the pool as i rock the popular tunes of "Poker Face" & other classic songs like "Oasis' Champagne Supernova".
Great music, great atmosphere, great prizes to be won! There was also a lucky draw session and winners got a free stay at downeast east resorts! Lucky winner chosen by MUA!
The organizers loved us so much they got us back again for the subsequent week ((: I definitely had a great time at Wild wild wet! Watch out for the return of Wet & Life again next year!
The APEC CEO Summit dinner was held at the beautiful One on the Bund, an exquisitely furnished Shanghai-themed restaurant situated right by the Singapore River.
my view from the stage
I was told that this was only one of the six summit dinners held concurrently all across singapore that night..
YoursTruly was delighted to entertain the crowd with tunes of Shanghai-jazz.
Love, kexin
Beautiful pictures once again by my dear friend Eric from Livestudios!
Thank you for serenading our wedding and making the event a truly memorable one!
love, faizal and divya
You have never been to a true blue Singaporean wedding until you've been to Faizal and Divya's wedding dinner. It was the first time I saw all Chinese, Malays and Indians gather under one roof to celebrate life and the union of two and i must say, it was really a very heartwarming sight!
Before i indulge you with details of the eventful wedding night, let me share with you Faizal and Divya's ethnic history. Faizal is a malay but apparently, Divya is chinese indian! and so they say love knows no boundaries (:
Their first march in was also one of a kind, they were led into the ballroom by a troop of "army", hammering away at their kompang to signal the incoming of their majesty!
the king and queen proceeds to their throne...
and was entertained by a SriWana dance performance...
I managed to catch a bit of the performance from my camera..
and then they joined in the fun!
After the show ended, Yours Truly took over and the dedications were overwhelming! We even had a song request for the moon represents my heart (yue liang dai biao wo de xin) and i professed that it was weird to sing a chinese classic for such a multiracial crowd. but my concern immediately vanished when a table cheered to support the song choice! haha
As if the programme was already not happening enough, Divya got on stage after her 2nd march-in and sang a lovely number, Lost in Your Eyes - Debbie Gibson, for her husband..
I must mention about faizal's brother for he was such a fantastic host! There was no dead air and he managed the crowd so well, going around after our set ended to interview people and getting their well wishes recorded down on video.. There was one particular message that was soo funny my band i were really amused, Faizal's secondary teacher said this, "Back in secondary school I taught Faizal abit of bio and sex education, now Faizal, for tonight, i say, JUST DO IT!!!!!!" hahahaha she screamed those last 3 three words out like some inner monsters were unleashed it was truly hilarious!
Samantha on vocals, Daniel on guitar, Wah Yong on bass
Had a great time performing at this event with Daniel and Wah Yong!
The night view there is breath-taking. You can bring your date there to rendezvous for abit. It's at the rooftop of the YMCA building, perfect for a semi-outdoor gig, red wine and flowers.
But the theme for the dinner wasn't exactly romantic. It was for the volunteers who have been helping troubled kids at school. It's heartwarming to know that such compassion's always around.
I'm glad to be part of it and most importantly, I'm glad they enjoyed our performance.
